Business Intelligence Analyst

Build the dashboards and data models that power healthcare decisions. Fully remote role for experienced BI professionals skilled in Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision making. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. Duties

Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Visual Studio, SQL and more
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their reporting and analytics needs
Work as part of a small, dynamic, development team to specify design, develop, and test using proven software development methodologies
Develop data models and design data warehouse structures to support reporting and analytics
Create ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse
Create DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
Keep up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends
Perform data analysis and develop visualizations and dashboards using Microsoft's Power BI
Optimize performance of BI solutions by tuning queries, indexes, and server configurations
Conduct testing and debugging of BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions

Experience

Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
Experience with SQL Server for data extraction, transformation, and load processing
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, particularly in Power BI, Power Query, DAX
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
